Arlington Art Deco

In collaboration with Carpenter & MacNeille, we designed a custom fireplace surround that properly frames an existing gas insert installed by the clients years earlier. Drawing inspiration from the clients’ affinity for purple tones and an Art Deco sensibility, the fireplace surround anchors the living room while respecting the home’s historic architecture. Carefully curated furnishings, including an antique mirror and coffee table, are paired with new lighting and an abstract rug to create a fresh, layered aesthetic that seamlessly integrates modern elements within the home’s traditional framework.
